This Space research lab is the first Iranian academic space center initiated by K.N. Toosi University of technology to establish a new knowledge-based laboratory for space engineers and to develop all needed field of space science for Iranian education centers by designing and improving educational space software. Although these software have user friendly interfaces, they equipped with advanced algorithm in their main structure.

K.N.T. University space research lab is also a multi-purpose area which can improve the quality of educational process in university. There are five main objectives which lie in the middle of this vision;

	collect a system design-oriented data base for software designing satellites, launchers, ground stations and related equipments including vehicle detail specification, test, manufacturing and usage
	produce and develop innovative systems and conceptual design and simulating software and hardware
	acknowledge and regroup design process according to space and industrial standards
